Roles & Responsibilities

What you will do…

Accountability for ALL brand campaigns on owned social and digital media platforms – this includes the planning and execution of Brand Marketing campaigns for multiple LOBs across all AIR MILES Canada social and digital properties

Demonstrate thought leadership and being on top of trends in development of social and digital media strategies and content that supports the brand and business goals

Cross functional collaboration with internal stakeholders, which include Creative, Client Services, Studio, and Marketing Teams to ideate, build and execute great content

Help ideate relevant and engaging social and digital content with internal stakeholders

Work with agencies to build social, influencer and digital strategies that will amplify the brand presence OR generate net new acquisitions

Analyze performance data and build insights to help optimize campaigns based off learnings

Who you are…

Minimum of 1-2 years of directly related work experience in Social OR Digital Media within a marketing/advertising capacity

Bachelors Degree in Media Information Technology (MIT), Communications, Advertising, Media Studies, Social Media or a related field

Experience in planning and building organic and paid media campaigns

Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments

Thorough knowledge of social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat

Solid ability to analyze, measure, report on metrics to optimize campaigns through platforms such as Facebook Insights, Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads Manager, Instagram Insights and Google Analytics

Experience developing strategic proposals and recommendations for social media and digital campaigns for internal stakeholders

Intermediate understanding of retargeting practices leveraging data captured by pixels/cookies

Understand how to execute content across channels with consistent brand voice and adhere to brand guidelines while simultaneously identifying fit-for-platform content that is engaging and creative

Passion for staying current on communications, social and content marketing trends
