Job Overview

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Tasks:

Support and lead site and certain regional and global category strategy development and execution, management for operating and capital expenditures as applicable. 

Fully utilize centrally developed Procurement Policy, aligned business processes and enabling systems and the strategic procurement methodology and procedures.

Responsible for optimizing cost, delivery, and quality of purchases.

Identify potential suppliers and issue requests for quotations and proposals.

Support Nutrien internal customers (“end users”).

Manage local supplier relationships.

Perform additional tasks as defined by the Manager, Procurement – Rocanville.

Skills:

Strong organizational, time management skills, and attention to detail 

Results-driven mindset, with developing capabilities in problem solving and analytical thinking

Ability to work with a variety of internal customers and external suppliers with time sensitive demands

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with comfort working cross-functionally to gather information while driving relevant business value.

Capable of managing a small team, and processes to meet defined objectives

Working knowledge of various ERP and Procurement Systems (Oracle, Ariba, SAP)

Qualifications:

Requires a related 2-year technical diploma/associate degree and/or Supply Chain Management Designation (SCMP) 

Minimum 2-3 years relevant industry experience in procurement related function
