Roles & Responsibilities


Produce marketing copy and other materials such as presentation kits, catalogues, direct mail, sales promotions, print & web advertising, templates, speeches, letters, newsletters, interviews, manuals, articles, blogs, email campaigns and newsletters

Conceive and write articles, manuscripts, marketing copy, and other documentation that is engaging and accessible while ensuring all relevant material is factual

Gather, research, and prepare communications material for internal and external audiences

Verify source data, facts, and statistics using applicable referencing standards

Recommend changes to ensure all communications are consistent and appropriately reflect the organization’s brand and standards

Make adjustments to articles, manuscripts, marketing copy, and other documentation

Prepare relevant content for publication or presentation that is concise and easy to understand

Produce creative and persuasive copy

Prepare reports, presentations, websites, and press releases

Ensure that all materials are developed and distributed according to an appropriate timeline

Develop and implement communication and promotion strategies


Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, business, or a related field

Three to five years of related experience in marketing

Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing

High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment

Excellent understanding and familiarity with brand building and brand management

Experience in creating and executing successful e-mail marketing, Internet marketing, and direct marketing programs

General understanding of social media marketing

Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands

Demonstrated time management skills

High level of integrity and work ethic

Experience with SEO techniques (incorporating keyword into content and tracking utilization)
