Looking for Clerk – Scheduler / Expediter who has following skills and can work in Woodstock, Ontario. Clerk 6 – Scheduler / Expediter General Purpose: Responsible for supplier schedules and obtaining proper clearances and approvals. Work duties require good oral and communication skills and interpersonal skills. Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follows up schedules placed with supplier
  • Obtains proper clearances and approvals for purchasing transactions and releases
  • Contacts suppliers to resolve coverage and shortage problems
  • Reports vendor problems to supervisor
  • Expedites and ensures delivery of critical materials and determines responsibility for premium freight charges Processes, schedules and releases in accordance with Corporate and unit practices

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel – Beginner
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good customer service delivery
  • Good grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Ability to meet deadlines – Beginner level
  • Good planning and organizing skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Data and Document Management experience – Beginner
  • Knowledge of basic math – Beginner level
  • Office machine operation – Beginner level
  • Position related experience – 1-3 years

Required Education/Training:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

  • Suppliers agree that all candidates submitted / matched to this assignment will successfully complete the required Background Checks prior to the supplier confirming the acceptance of the assignment.
