As an IT Support Administrator, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to computer users experiencing difficulties with computer hardware, software applications, and communications software, specifically in a Marine environment. You’ll be the face of IT at a site level while you:
Provide hardware and software support on employee systems (troubleshooting, email, network, software and peripheral equipment problems)
Install and operate a variety of software programs and to patch, upgrade or otherwise maintain existing software programs
Provide problems solving services to site level network users in an efficient and timely manner
Maintain backup procedures and logs as per company and client standards
Complete workstation & domain configurations and maintenance
Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions and access rights to company resources
Responsible for moves, adds and changes to hardware and software to create consistencies across the Group
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and procedure manuals and apply information provided within
Assist with projects and other duties as requested or assigned by leadership

Solid background in desktop & server hardware and software support
Proven track record of expertise in Microsoft Office, Outlook 365 Windows 7/10.
Experience troubleshooting and implementing networking infrastructure (LAN, WAN and VPN)
Knowledge of DSL, Dedicated Fibre, FibreOp & Satellite Internet Connections
Data manipulation analysis with SQL, Access and Excel
Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strict attention to detail
Mature and independent worker with strong customer service skills
Flexibility to work varying shifts or additional time as instructed by business needs
Able to travel to various company sites to execute duties
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a rapidly changing environment
