Roles & Responsibilities

Position Focus Contribute to the achievement of branch targets and goals by providing administrative support to the branch lending team(s) by diligently following bank procedures and processes in an accurate, well organized and efficient manner Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all general practices performed comply with the Bank’s policies and procedures (LPGL, Operations, & Security Manuals) to ensure a high level of customer service and maintain a satisfactory inspection rating.
  • Process all entries relating to new and existing loans, this includes input of information, preparation of loan advances, payments, fees, and mortgage renewals.
  • Assist in the input of data to the Margining Control Card (form 1632).
  • Assist in the preparation of Commitment, Amendment and Renewal Letters.
  • Maintain the branch diary program.
  • Custodian of negotiable securities.
  • Assist in the compilation, distribution, and completion of credit administration reports.
  • Assist in the maintenance and management of loan files, including diary system, PPR registrations, bank confirmations, credit reports, loan revolvement, land title searches and property tax confirmations.
  • Participate and assist in the weekly/monthly meetings to communicate progress of branch goals and objectives.

Requirements: Education

  • Post-secondary education is an asset
  • Minimum 2 accounting courses required
  • Working knowledge of Temenos T24 is an asset

 Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3 years administration experience including 1 year in loan administration

Personal Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of the Banking System, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Forms
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and WAVE
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Good working knowledge of all policies and procedures with the applicable manuals (Operations, LPGL, & Security)
  • Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
