You will be responsible for leading and managing the HR function, including all day-today Human Resource activities and providing Human Resources expertise to all levels throughout the organization.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Employee relations/People management
  1. Coaching managers and employees on policies, issue resolution, clarifications of employment standards, etc.
  2. Identify people and organizational issues and envelop strategies/initiatives to address issues
  3. Demonstrate an awareness of issues important to employees and strive to overcome issues
  4. Demonstrate expertise in HR and organizational matters
  5. Provide a positive leadership example of all management employees
  • End to end payroll experience using Ceridian Dayforce
  • Budget planning, reconciliation, forecasting – planning and forecasting new division budgets, reconciliation of budget on a monthly basis
  • Compensation/ Benefits/ Pension Management & Administration
  • Responsible for all benefits, pension and compensation administration
  1. Oversees annual compensation review and ensure philosophy aligns with market competitive trends and internal consistence
  2. Ongoing annual analysis of benefits program to continue employee satisfaction and cost effectiveness
  3. Manage the Rewards & Recognition program from a budget and effectiveness perspective
  4. Present improvements/concerns to VP, HR for buy in and approval
  • HR Reporting
  1. Responsible for in-depth HR reporting and analysis
  2. Use data to trend and determine action items
  3. Review and analyze Employee Survey date
  4. Look at trends and determine actions steps, etc.
  • Responsible for managing employee HRIS and all associated reports, tenure, salary, fitness reimbursement, etc.
  • Review and analyze data to ensure employees are using the perks offered by KFF
  • Trend data accordingly and make recommendations
  • Recruitment, Selection, Hiring
  1. Assist with resource planning
  2. Interviewing, developing best practices for managers, hiring qualified candidates, etc.
  3. Meet with all new hired and conduct HR orientation
  • Policies & Process Improvements
  1. Owner of content and ensuring policies are being followed throughout the organization
  2. Provide coaching/ guidance and responds to inquiries
  3. Identifies areas for improvement throughout the organization
  4. Outline initiative and ideas which can provide tangible benefits to individuals and the organization as a whole
  5. Takes a leadership role and promotes corporate initiatives through training and employee development

Position Requirements:

  • Proven dedication to the internal/external customer’s needs

  • Desire to work in a team environment, in multiple different capacities
  • Prior work experience in all fundamental areas of HR:
  1. Employee relations
  2. Recruitment & Selection
  3. Compensation & Benefits
  4. HR Law
  5. HR Accounting
  6. Performance Management Process, Budget Planning
  7. HR Reporting
  • Ability to write, understand and implement policies and procedures to all levels of the organization
  • 5+ years previous HR experience with all areas of HR
