Roles & Responsibilities

The responsibility of the summer student is to ensure timely processing of customer orders, from data entry in TOPS to cutting the work order for all Canadian and USA customers.

Responsibilities:

– Enter regular orders in TOPS
– Enter return request in TOPS
– Complete and return all orders to customer service in a timely manner
– Filling documents
– Back-up for CSR, when needed
– Any and all other relevant tasks

Requirements:
– Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities
– Data entry abilities
– Innovative
– Quick learner
– Well-developed team spirit
– Good communication skills
– French and English, spoken and written
Program Eligibility requirements:
– Must be the son, daughter, brother or sister of a full-time permanent employee of ABB, or a member of the ABB Group of companies
– Must be 18 years of age or older
– Must be a student at an accredited college or university and returning to school in September (proof will be required)
– Must be available for the full summer work term (maximum 3 months)
– Must meet the requirements of the job posting (location, etc)
– The student cannot report directly to their parent
– No vacation time will be permitted during the work term
