Roles & Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting Occasional Teachers who are certified/certificate pending with the Ontario College of Teachers for our Occasional Teacher Roster. 


Candidates must have the following qualifications/experience:

  • Candidates must hold an undergraduate degree.
  • Candidates must be in “Good Standing” with the Ontario College of Teachers by the start date of the assignment

 

This posting is open to both Elementary and Secondary applicants holding both the listed OCT qualifications and a university degree:

Applicants applying to the Elementary Panel only must have at least two of these Basic Qualifications: Primary, Junior, Intermediate.

Applicants applying to the Secondary Panel only must have both Intermediate and Senior qualifications

Applicants applying to both Elementary and Secondary Panels must have the following three qualifications: Junior, Intermediate, and Senior.

 Please note: that interviews will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 and Wednesday August 22, 2018.

We understand the time frame for these Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check can vary by regional office.
