  • Work with high profile clients on a variety of Canadian and international engagements      As a Senior Manager or Manager you will: 

 

  • Provide clients with buy-side valuation advice including pricing/market analysis, target company valuations, and purchase price allocations;
  • Provide clients with sell-side valuation advice including preparation of offering documents, divestiture company and asset valuations, and offer analysis;
  • Provide valuation support to our audit and tax functions such as impairment analysis, going concern analysis, valuations to support corporate restructuring, and valuations for business combination;
  • Deliver all forms of valuation reports (comprehensive, estimate, and calculation);
  • Lead assignments involving valuation and damages quantification for dispute & litigation purposes, including shareholder disputes, loss of opportunity claims, family law and expropriation matters;
  • Prepare credible expert reports for purposes of dispute resolution;
  • Lead the team in the development of financial models in valuation and loss quantification mandates;
  • Cultivate relationships with clients and possess a strong knowledge in leveraging prevalent methodologies;
  • Employ a structured approach to project management to ensure complete client satisfaction and project profitability;
  • Develop your expertise in a specialization and your reputation as a business advisor;
  • Contribute to practice growth and development;
  • Participate in the development and delivery of training programs

  External Posting Qualifications  

  • Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials;
  • Completion of the Chartered Business Valuators (CBV) designation required.
  • CPA or MBA or other accounting designation would be considered an asset
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience;
  • Strong external consulting or advisory experience as well as experience managing teams;
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence;
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proven ability to deliver all valuation related services;
  • Experienced with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations and team leadership;
  • Canadian travel required, occasional international travel. Candidates must be able to enter the USA to work on client assignments.
