PathFactory’s Content Insight and Activation Platform helps B2B marketers understand the role of content in the buyer’s journey and discover a new class of data to optimize the path to purchase. PathFactory uses this data and insight to optimize content delivery across every channel, connecting buyers with the most relevant information whenever and wherever they click.

What does a Senior Test Engineer at Pathfactory do?

You will work on one of our feature teams and be part of our agile development lifecycle from start to finish. You will also continuously drive our testing tools and infrastructure efforts to improve our end-to-end development lifecycle efficiency and product quality; from coding to testing, to release to production monitoring.

What does a typical day look like?

  • You will be spending a majority of your day working within a full stack team of developers, product managers, product designers to design, scope, review, develop, test and release great software products
  • You will also be developing, maintaining, improving and innovating our automated testing framework, built on top of Selenium WebDriver, RSpec, Capybara, Postman, and more
  • You will be mentoring other QA Engineers by different means such as code reviews and pairing sessions
  • Create and improve non-functional tests, such as performance and security tests
  • Research and develop new tools/technologies to help the test team grow
  • Most important, you enjoy being involved in making great products!


What qualifications are required?

  • Sounding knowledge of automation experiences using Selenium WebDriver, Capybara, RSpec, Jenkins
  • Expert-level experience developing thorough testing solutions across testing layers (e.g., unit, functional, integration, stress testing) for your code, using one or more of the following: JavaScript, Ruby, Shell Scripts, MySQL scripts
  • Intermediate-level experience using typical bug tracking/dev tools such as Git, Jira, etc.
  • Experience developing and improving automation frameworks such as Selenium, API, Performance, security test frameworks


What’s nice to have?

  • Experience working with relational database systems
  • Experience with Dev/Ops
  • Experience with marketing technology
