Roles & Responsibilities

What will you do?

Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role. There will be more, but we can discuss those in person:

Be the day to day lead for the company’s digital strategy including social media, blog, website content, e-mail programs, SEO and SEM;

Develop and manage social media strategies across various social networks including Facebook, LinkedIn; Instagram, Twitter, Google +, YouTube, and more;

Design and create visual assets for social channels using Adobe Creative Suite, including website maintenance;

Maintain an active presence with our online community by monitoring, responding, and maintaining relationships;

Analyze performance of channels, campaigns, and programs on a weekly and monthly basis;

Implement tactical online marketing initiatives including event tracking, on site optimizations, keyword analysis, content creation, site auditing and competitive analysis;

Cultivate and nurture relationships with media, bloggers and online influencers;

Identify opportunities by monitoring relevant social media news, trends, and technology;

Align content and social media programs with SEO best practices

Implement tactical online marketing initiatives including event tracking, on site optimizations, keyword analysis, content creation, site auditing and competitive analysis;

Assist with creating and managing digital e-mail campaigns; and

Assist with marketing events and projects as required.

What type of experience and skills do you have?

College or University Degree Marketing, Business and/or relevant experience in digital/social media marketing;

3+ years’ experience in Digital Marketing position, previous experience with a Real Estate developer would be an asset;

Proficient with Adobe CC (especially InDesign and Photoshop) and MS Office and desktop publishing;

Strong written communication skills for Social media posts;

Demonstrated abilities with email distribution systems;

WordPress and Google Analytics experience are great assets;

Experience with website maintenance, digital marketing and/or CRM experience ideal;

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work with multiple stakeholders and vendors; and

Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn new concepts and software applications quickly and independently
